 MOHANTHAL

                           Mohanthal is a traditional Gujarati sweet dish made up from besan, ghee, sugar and nuts. It is made in Rajasthan too. 

Ingredients

● Bengal gram flour - 115gm

● Pistachio nuts and almonds - 30gm 

● Milk - 60ml 

● Cardamoms - 6

● Ghee - 170gm 

● Sugar - 340gm


Method

1. Mix gram flour, milk and 55 gm of fat.

2. Make a thick syrup of the sugar.

3. Blanch and slice almonds and pistachios. 4. Powder cardamoms.

5. Heat remaining fat.

6. Add gram flour mixture and fry.

7. Add sugar syrup. Mix well. Remove and pour onto greased plate and allow to set.

8. Sprinkle cardamom powder. Garnish with nuts. Cut into pieces.
